What material do you use for the coasters?

We use true pulp board imported form Finland. Our pulp board is specially formulated specifically for coasters. They are meant to be reused multiple times. Just let the coasters sit overnight and they will regain their absorbency. Our coaster material is 0.061" thick. 

Can we do multiple designs and still get the quantity discount?

Yes, on orders of 1000 or more we can do up to 4 different designs. 

How do you print them?

We use the latest uv flatbed printing technology. 

What inks do you use? 

Our inks are outdoor quality UV cured. They are very durable and do not bleed when they get wet. In fact, they are so durable that we use the same inks to print our tap handles: https://taphandlestogo.com 

Do you do colour matching?

We try to do our best but unfortunately not all colours can be matched. Our machine prints in CMYK which allows us to match a lot of colours but not all. There are some pantone colours that we cannot match, especially lighter colours. We do not guarantee matches.

How do I indicate a cut line on my file?

We like to use lime green.

Why is there a "safe area" on the template?

When we print double sided coasters there is a chance that the back side can be up to 2mm off so we have a safe area to warn our customers do not put and text or other graphics that can be cut off. This is also something to keep in mind when designing your coaster. Elements like borders can look off centre on the back only.

WHAT IF I MISS THE EMAILS AND DON'T APPROVE MY PROOF?

We will try our best to contact you if we do not receive an approval. If we cannot print your designs, we will give a refund.

HOW DO I INCREASE THE RESOLUTION OF MY ARTWORK?

You cannot increase the resolution of your artwork. The lowest resolution we accept is 72 dpi - the higher the better to avoid pixelation. Vector is certainly the best.

DO I HAVE TO USE YOUR TEMPLATES?

Not at all. Just let us know what you're looking for in the "Special Instructions" section and we can help you out. If you would like to use the templates, please remove the template prior to sending. If it's a vector file, we can remove the template.

HOW DO I SET UP MY ARTWORK FOR FULL BLEED PRINTING?

Allow the colour to bleed 1/8 inch outside the cutline. Please specify if you would like full bleed printing.

CAN YOU PRINT RGB/PANTONE COLOURS?

Our printer prints using CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) ink, therefore RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and Pantone (universal colour guideline) colours will be converted to CMYK. This may cause slight colour shifts. When switching, we will get as close as possible but cannot guarantee a complete colour match. Check out this blog for more information about Pantone/RGB/CMYK

DO I NEED TO OUTLINE MY FONTS?

Yes, please convert them to lines. Otherwise, we may not have the font that is in your file and it will cause a substitution of fonts.

CAN YOU RESIZE MY ARTWORK FOR ME?

Yes. Vector artwork can be resized to infinity. Non-vector artwork can be resized as long as the resolution is high enough.

DO YOU ALLOW INTERNAL CUTS?

Not for coasters.

CAN I SEE A PROOF BEFORE ORDERING?

Yes. We send proofs prior to printing all coasters. We will send up to 3 proofs per order at no charge.

DO I NEED TO APPROVE MY PROOF WHEN REORDERING?

Yes. It takes just a few minutes and can save a lot of confusion.

CAN I MODIFY MY QUANTITY DURING PROOFING?

Yes, anything can be changed during the proofing process.

WILL YOU PRINT COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL?

No, unless the copyright is owned by the person placing the order. We do not take responsibility for copyright infringements. 

CAN YOU HELP ME DESIGN MY COASTER?

Possibly, but there may be a surcharge. Send us an email with as much detail as possible and we can get you a quote.

CAN I GET A QUOTE?

Email us with your sizes, shapes and quantities and we'll get you a quote within 24 business hours.

CAN I CHANGE THE COLOUR OF MY COASTER AND STILL GET A MULTIPLE DEAL?

For example: you have a coaster that you want to order quantity 100, but would like 25 green, 25 full colour, 25 purple and 25 black. As long as the cut line is the same for all designs, we can do this. We have to charge for separate orders when we have to manipulate or apply different cut lines. Contact us for any questions regarding this and we can see what we can do.

RETURN POLICY

We sell quality coasters, so the last thing we want is to have you unhappy with them! 

Due to the custom nature of the coasters, we cannot accept returns on coasters that have been approved via proof. All orders are sent proofs for the customer to review spelling, colour, size, clarity, bleeds and omissions or additional artifacts. If there is a discrepancy in the proof vs. what you received, we will certainly offer a refund. Also, if there is a quality issue with the stickers, we will offer a refund.

Coasters that have been abused or used improperly are not guaranteed.

We do not guarantee colour matching. 

  • We must be contacted within 72 hours from delivery of any defects.
  • You must submit a photograph that clearly indicates the problem.
  • We may require you to return 100% of the order before we reproduce your order.
  • Customers are responsible for return postage.
  • When reproducing an order, the original production time and expedited shipping method will be used. 
  • Refunds will process back to your purchasing credit card or PayPal account in 5-7 days. In the case of purchase via Quickbooks (Intuit) we will require your credit card information to input back into the system to process the refund, OR we will offer an email transfer payment to the email address that purchased the product.
  • All sales are final.

SHIPPING

Our coasters ship out in an estimated time of 1 week. Larger orders may take longer. We will let you know at the proofing stage if this is the case.

If you are interested in shipping with another courier (Purolator, FedEx) for an extra charge, please let us know as we can get you a quote.

We do not guarantee shipping times, we can only guarantee how long it takes us to make the coasters!

Shipping to the USA takes 7-14 days.

If your order does not arrive or is damaged: contact us to open a ticket with Canada Post in order to find the package. We are not responsible for extra shipping charges incurred if the incorrect shipping address is supplied. We are not responsible for packages lost or irretrievable by Canada Post. We are not responsible for late deliveries. We are not liable for taxes, duties or customs on shipping.
